Executive Director
Katie, our executive director, is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization and manages all of our operations. She is a competitive powerlifter and has a passion for cooking delicious, healthy meals. Katie resides in Philadelphia with her husband, their pup, Lou, and their chinchilla, Shoshie.
Christi Richards
Chief Technology Officer
Christi, our chief technology officer, oversees our technology architecture, operations, web, and mobile development. She has extensive industry experience in full-stack web development, web design, and user experience, and is passionate about making the world a better place using technology. Christi also enjoys code collaboration, advocating for elementary STEM education, and playing classical piano. She resides in Boardman, Ohio, with her family.
Jennifer Richards
Development Director
As our development director, Jenny maintains our user and supporter relations, tracks donations, and manages our nonprofit state registrations. She loves to spend time with her family (especially with her grand-twins), enjoys the outdoors, and is always on the lookout for new WFPB recipes. Jenny resides in Washington, D.C., with her husband, John.
Kate Porigow
Senior Director of Programs
As our senior director of programs, Kate works with the entire NutritionFacts.org team to help manage and develop our many projects, both ongoing and new. Prior to joining NutritionFacts in 2016, she spent a decade working in education and for education-related nonprofits. Kate lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and companion animals. In her free time, she can be found behind a book or in the outdoors.
Kristina DeMuth MPH, RD
Director of Nutrition and Social Media Strategy
Kristina is our director of nutrition and social media strategy. A registered dietitian with a master’s in Public Health, she is passionate about making nutrition education accessible and fun. In her free time, Kristina enjoys figure skating, hiking, photography, recipe development, and spending time with her friends and family.
Steven Litrov
Global Volunteer Director
Steven serves as our global volunteer director, managing volunteer projects and coordinating volunteer efforts at NutritionFacts.org. Prior to joining our organization, he traveled around the United States to raise awareness about where our food comes from and to promote healthy alternatives. He is based in Los Angeles.
Diana Montejano
Spanish Program Director
Diana, our Spanish program director, is responsible for overseeing all the video translations and making sure everything on the Spanish site is translated and published on time. She is a dedicated mother of two kids and four rescued dogs who live with her and her husband in Monterrey, Mexico. She has been following a plant-based diet for many years and loves to read and learn about neurodiversity. Diana also advocates for a world where people with any neurodiversity can live a happy life.
Hailey Chang
Chinese Program Director
Hailey is our Chinese program director and manages our Chinese social media platforms, video translations, and localization projects. From working as a medical interpreter in California, volunteering in impoverished areas in the Philippines, facilitating personal development programs in Vietnam, to engaging in plant-based lifestyle activism, for the past sixteen years, Hailey has dedicated her life to community building and creating a better world for all.
Mary Harris
Media Director
Mary, our media director, oversees NutritionFacts’ public relations and media relations efforts. She has been working in PR and marketing for more than 15 years and has 12 years of experience as a university professor. Mary resides on the east coast of the United States with her husband and three children.
Lauren Belyeu
Digital Outreach Director
Lauren, our digital outreach director, came to NutritionFacts with a ten-year background in digital advertising and a keen interest in nutrition research. She manages our digital marketing strategy and campaigns. Born in California and raised in South Africa, Lauren has also lived in South Korea and Northern Virginia, and now resides in Cape Town, South Africa, with her partner and dog, where she enjoys hiking and cooking for her family and friends.
Ángela Graña Varela
Spanish Translations Manager
Ángela, our Spanish translations manager, oversees our Spanish social media platforms and blog translations, and serves as an editor for our Spanish-related materials and efforts. She’s a professional translator whose working languages are Spanish, English, and French. Originally from Spain, Ángela studied in Geneva and lived in France for six years with her husband before moving back to Spain.
Miyun Park
Senior Editor and Publications Director
Miyun joined NutritionFacts.org as our senior editor and publications director with more than three decades of experience working with advocacy charities. She serves as editor of Dr. Greger’s books, blogs, webinars, and other written and spoken content, as well as oversees the creation of each book, managing every aspect of the development and production process. Miyun resides in Washington, D.C., and is passionate about live music.
Caroline Garriott
Design Director
As our design director, Caroline manages our brand and design initiatives. Prior to joining the NutritionFacts team, she supported the branding and visual storytelling initiatives of a wide range of community-oriented clients, including regional tourism agencies, local hospitals, foundations, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses. Caroline lives in Upstate New York with her husband and their three dogs, and is a masters swimmer, avid reader, and outdoor adventure enthusiast.
Lucy Roberts
Social Media Project Manager
Lucy is NutritionFacts.org’s social media project manager. Passionate about health equity, she enjoys long bike rides and walks with friends and practicing yoga, and tries to read one or two books every week. Lucy currently resides in Minneapolis, but tries to get out of Minnesota during the dark winter months as much as possible!
Tabitha Giles
Digital Outreach Assistant
Tabitha has an extensive marketing background and serves as our digital outreach assistant, working to help optimize and execute NutritionFacts.org’s digital marketing campaigns and improve our SEO strategies. She balances these analytical projects with creative hobbies, such as photography, reading, and writing. Originally from Michigan, Tabitha now lives in Atlanta where she enjoys hiking, golfing, and racquetball.
Dan Randall
Web Developer
Dan is a web developer and is responsible for day-to-day technical tasks, including web development, maintenance, and administration of the NutritionFacts.org website. He has degrees in computer science and did his doctoral research in machine learning, but his career has focused on web development. Dan has been a plant-based eater since 2016 and can often be found in the kitchen with his daughter, proving what is good for you tastes great, too. Dan lives in northern California with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
Nathan Alexander
Web Developer
A web developer, Nathan has a full stack web development certificate and a master’s in Animals and Public Policy. He has worked in plant-based nutrition for a number of years and recently pursued web development as a way of using technology to help improve the lives of people, animals, and the planet. Nathan enjoys being outdoors, listening to and seeing music, and playing with his dogs, Bailey and Orlie.
Alissa Finley
Research Review Manager
Alissa’s working relationship with NutritionFacts.org began in 2015 when she was hired to serve as a fact-checker for Dr. Greger’s How Not to Die. Since then, she has been a vital member of his book team. Her purview has recently expanded beyond books to include videos and other materials. Alissa resides with her children and other furry companions in Norman, Oklahoma.
